This on-line database covers the works of the Cavaille-Coll firm, as overseen by the master organ builder through 1899 (the year of his death). The database is drawn from the work of Gilbert Huybens of Belgium, but is considered to be a "living" document that will grow. We encourage your suggestions. Of special interest are listings of instruments constructed by the CC firm under Charles Mutin. For more detailed information on the instruments covered in this database, including the stop lists of the instruments at the time of their construction and commentary, see the recently published book Aristide Cavaillé-Coll: A Compendium of Known Stoplists by Jesse Eschbach, Verlag Peter Ewers, Schildern 21, D-33098 Paderborn, Germany, 2003, ISBN 3-928243-05-5.
