Welcome to the website of the Association Aristide Cavaillé-Coll, fruit of the work and experience of more than thirty years of activities based on respect for the work of this great French artist. The site is, for us as for you, an opportunity tu increase knowledge, look up various facts, communicate or simply delve into instrumental and musical creation within every area touching upon the 19th-century organ and its ramifications in the 20th century. For this site is yours as well: we hope it may live up to your expectations, giving you the possiblity of consulting the opinion of other enthusiasts including our members spread over more than 12 countries, sharing with them your experiences. Our aim is eventually to bring together all mateiral contributing to a better awareness of the work of Aristide Cavaillé-Coll, and his contemporaries and successors.

About our logo

This monogram was used by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll himself: hand-drawn on the pedalboard at San Francisco el Grande in Madrid from 1884, it also appears sculpted into the rear panel in the console of the 1876 organ in Le Dorat.
